Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge review

OVERVIEW :

The South Korean electronics giant has recently launched a fine addition to it's huge Galaxy line of smartphones and guess what ? It's their newest flagship model  .

DESIGN AND DISPLAY : 

The s7 edge has smooth curves at the back and full metal side rails that makes it very easier to pick up and hold . The shape of s7 is very different from regualr s7 but still it is prettier than other phones out there .
The streamlined design has some unprecedented lines that are smooth and solid .
The 3D thermo forming method was used to create the curved glass that feels so seamless that it combines with the full metal unibody to give a strong and robust feel .










The phone has a bright , quad hd  5.5 inch super AMOLED display  , providing rich and life like visuals with a pixel density of 534 ppi .
For the protection part , there's a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on it as well .
The phone has the signature curved glass on both the ends that give it it's name 
The s7 edge is .2 mm thinner and 5 gms heavier than the regular galaxy s7 .

CAMERA AND PERFORMANCE : 

There is a 12 mega pixel ,dual pixel sensor with f/1.7 , 26mm , phase detection auto focus  , Optical Image Stabilization and LED flash.
The large aperture ensures great low light performance and the PD auto focus ensures lightning fast focusing on the subject . 
All of these features and specifications combine together to give you one of the best smartphone camera experience out there! 
The front camera has a 5 mega pixel CMOS f/1.7 camera , that's incredible for your selfies and more.
It records full hd video @ 60 fps as well.

A Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac module , Bluetooth v4.2 , A - GPS and GLONASS and NFC give you plenty of useful communication options for your ease and convenience .


 A very useful finger print sensor ensures top notch secure access  , accelerometer  , gyro sensor , proximity sensor . compass , barometer and a heart rate sensor provide the hardware base for some of the useful apps on the play store .

SOME OTHER FEATURES :

The device comes with fast charging support and the signature wireless charging too .

One hefty new feature that i liked was the SIM tray , that could act as a dual SIM card tray or a single SIM and micro sd card try . You decide that based on your convenience .

The phone is water resistant with an Ingress Protection rating of 68 .

VERDICT :

This is truly one of the best flagship smartphones out there in terms of performance , camera and battery backup . If you are willing to shell out 50k

on a device that gives you an absolute edge over others , then this is truly the phone made for you.
