       Key Features

  • This is design makeover by the company for canvas 6 and canvas 6 Pro. This time they have opted for full metal unibody inspired by high end flagship models like Moto G and LG G series which give the smartphone a premium look and classy look.
  • It is not customary for smartphone under 15k category to have finger print sensor but Micromax has provided one in both Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 pro and it works quite well at this price range.
  • Even with a 3000 mAh battery it performed surprisingly well given that it has 1.5 GHZ octa-core processor.

        Some bad points

( come on every phone has some )
  • Despite the full metal unibody the ergonomic on the phone is average. while holding the phone the texture and design didn't felt upto the point as compared to the stunning looks and curves.

  • Gorilla Glass 3 which now some what becoming a standard to every flag ship model was no where to be found due to the cost of metal for the unibody.

  • Micromax is never known for its camera quality and with this they have proved the point. Despite performing decently the day, the low light and night image weren't upto the point.

  • Its still runs on Android version 5.1 which is not good considering this is the flagship product of the company.

  VERDICT

If you are looking for smartphone with good battery life, power processing power, and premium looks then you can consider canvas 6 but if you like clicking pictures and sefies or the feel of a high end flagship then you might not like. Its still a decent smartphone to buy at this price range.
