Looks and Design

Other than the screen size there is near to no difference in the physical appearance in both of these smartphones. as of design ingenuity they don't look any different from other Lenovo phone in the lower segment other than the finger print sensor on bottom of the screen. there is only one way to distinguish between these two smartphone i.e. when you look at the back you can see the camera placement is different on both of them, the camera is placed on the upper left corner with the flash in Z2 whereas in Z2 Pro its alignment is parallel with the phone along its length.
Well enough for differences, both the phone are enclosed in a full metal body and fell good in hand. the ergonomic are good but not great as Z2 Pro's main competitor in the market is the One Plus 3 which has very high in our design test. but thing it does features is  2.5D curved display which sound like a companies marketing gimmick but it is not.
As we see normal displays have cornered edges which can be seen clearly on normal smartphone but if you look closely on Z2 Pro you could notice a slight curve on the edge of the screen which doesn't sound too impressive but wait till you hold it because then only you can understand the difference between them as it simply looks amazing.

Display and Performance

The main physical difference that we mentioned above was the size of the screen which isn't too noticeable even when you hold or look at it. as always they have done a fine job on the display. the colors are sharp with good contrast which is perfectly neither too much nor too much which is hard to achieve. when watching indoor you would get the feel of looking at high definition television which it really is but small in size but one thigh that they lacked was the brightness as when taken outside the brightness couldn't hold itself against the sun which will be a downer for sum but there is no doubt they did a formidable job and balanced the performance in indoors.
As when it comes to clicking photos they have the same identical primary and secondary cameras but Z2 Pro has dual-tone flash but that doesn't make very big difference in their performance. the primary 13MP camera takes appreciable photos which good color saturation and less noise. the photos are good when taken under natural light and very well lit rooms but then drops to average under low light conditions. we can't say it is the best camera in the market at this price range and we know that picture quality was never the strong point of Lenovo but it is a field that very less smartphones have mastered.
Now we come to the main course, the benchmark performance. As I have already said a million times but even then going to say it again, they a almost identical. but here we can see another difference. They are housed by the same top of the line Snapdragon 820 processor which is a SoC very preferred for flagship smartphones but the difference comes in the RAM Z2 and Z2 Pro has 4GB and 6GB RAM respectively.
But that doesn't make much difference there aren't many application that's requires full usage of your 4GB of RAM let alone using 6GB but it always feels good when we see that there is still half of the RAM that is not is use. anyways, the combination of these is near perfect as it will able to run all the games on the android market and you won't notice any lag which multitasking and therefore Lenovo has that part covered.

The Trump Card

One thing that is worth mentioning is that Lenovo will be launching it ZUI 2.0 with the Zuk Z2 and Z2 Pro and you might ask what is so exciting about that. well let me tell you, if to be trusting the company they might be rolling a unique feature with their new UI which is the One Click Overclocking. Yes you heard it right and I know what your are thinking and you are totally correct, this new feature enable the phone the overclock its Snapdragon 820 processor form 2.15GHz to 2.3GHz which is a great news considering that it has a tough competition to give in the market.

Verdict

Here the final view, the Z2 and Z2 Pro are great smartphone with a great price. we accept that there are and will always be a smartphone with even greater specs but there is not denying that it is worth every rupee it costs and with its new upcoming One Click Overclocking feature there is no doubt that it is one of the few smartphone in this segment that has tried to do something different instead of following a clichéd pattern and we suggest if you are looking for a phone at this price range they definitely worth buying.
