Vivo v3 Max launched in april 2016 is the newest smartphone by Vivo in the sub 25k category.

The Chinese telecom company Vivo had launched its new models Vivo v3 and its big brother v3 Max and entered in the race of sub 25k category. v3 Max is provided with a  1.8 GHz octa-core snapdragon 652 processor and a separate GPU. it also houses 4 Gb of RAM and 32 Gb of internal storage expandable upto 128 Gb via microSD card. with a 5.5 inces full HD 1080p IPS display, a 13MP primary and 8MP secondary camera with dual LED flash this phone is targeted in the value for money segment of smartphones like Xiaomi, Lenovo and OnePlus.

Build And Design

Vivo offers a gigantic screen size but still feels light and comfortable when held despite having a full metal unibody. with a full aluminium magnesium alloy body the phone offers the perfect balance between sturdiness and weight. its round edges and smooth finish in the palms of the user. they have also provided a transparent back cover for better grip and light protection.

    Performance

The phone pack a snapdragon 652 octa-core processor which is good for gaming and it didn't hung during the testing. although the processing power is quite enough but other phone in this segment are sport their phone with a much powerful processer which can be draw back for a phone that boast its value for money factor if it doesn't have the best specs. next comes the speaker, it has a unispeaker at the bottom that provides very decent sound quality with good base. the battery back of the phone is quite powerful too but with very heavy usage you might have to charge it twice in a day. but that won't be a problem with its fast charging function provided by the company.

    Verdict

the phone shows some unique features like good sound quality and fast charging that adds up to its plus points. its full metal unibody feels rich in the hands of the user and the camera quality is very good. but when it comes to the specs their are other phone which offers better at the same price which adds up to its negative points. even so if the buyer in interested in good sound quality and battery life this smartphone can be considered but for specs and performance it is a so-so choice.
